A motivational story by Advocate Sunilnath made the session interesting. Dr. Mahadevan gave tips to students for their "Higher Education".
A good number of parents, who were interested in bright future of their kids made the venture great. KSS members did a wonderful job in organizing the event.

Suvasini Pooja
It is none other than “Kurumba Bhagavathy” of kodungalloor had protected
our ancestors during the exodus period from Goa. Traditionally, the “first
talapoli” at kodungallor bhagavathi temple is the right given to the
kudumbi community. Suvasini pooja (Suhasini pooja), a ritual observed
during this day in which a married woman, sumangali is offered meals,
fruits, cloths along with dhakshina and worshipped as the manifestation of
Godess Dhurga. Many kudumbi sumangalies join this pooja on this auspicious
occasion.
Let us all join for the “first talapoli” on 15th Jan 2012 at Kodungallor
and celebrate kudumbi traditional feast.

The program was successful. Around 50 students attended the programme. Inaugurated by Mr. Ashokan,
Member of Kudumbi mahajana saba, vypeen, presided by P. R. Murali and felicitated by Mr. Rajeev,
Panchayath member.
There were classes on Mathematics, Communicative English and Parents role in Education.
Mr. Gopinath has given tricks to simplify mathematical calculations. Based on a problem sheet supplied to the
students, he has shown how to solve the problems quickly. Students found the session useful.
The class led by Mrs. Maya Krishnan was the first ever class given to the parents on their role on educating
wards, psychology of their wards and the role to be played for the overall progress of their kids.
The dynamic class by Mr. K. S. Santhosh Kumar was really enjoyed by all. The importance of communication
was stressed overall in the class.
All enjoyed the delicious food sponsored by P. R. Murali, Sr. Member of KSS.
